Benefit Event Date: June 17th, 2010

June is Pride month thanks to some very brave New Yorkers at a bar in 1969.  Now, you can get the full story when MyQmunity, FORGE and the L Train Bar and Theater screen the new documentary Stonewall Uprising.  The film features footage of the historic Stonewall Riots and interviews with patrons and police officers who were there that historic night.  Scheduled to appear at the L Train, 900 Central Ave., Suite 25B, is Raymond Castro of Madeira Beach, who was arrested at Stonewall on June 28, 1969.  He will take questions after the film. Proceeds benefit St. Pete Pride.  For more information visit ForgeFL.org or StPetePride.com.
